FBI [aka Free Broadcast inc.] was established in 1995 in response to a strong outcry from Sydney's music and arts communities demanding a radio service focusing on the city's cultural life. After a lengthy campaign for a full-time licence, the Australian Broadcasting Authority granted FBI a licence to broadcast across Sydney on 94.5FM.

To date Funkapella's focus has been in hosting top quality events centred around dance music, primarily house music. Funkapella has hosted numerous successful events since begining in January 2004 including "Funkapella" (1 & 2), "Funkapella pres. Lifted" (1 & 2) and our breaks party "Outbreak". Funkapella also managed promotions and DJ's for "Code@GPO" - a weekly club night pushing sexy, percussive house sounds held every Friday upstairs at the GPO Hotel for the latter half of 2004.

3D World Magazine is a free weekly street press magazine that has been in existence since 1989, when it became apparent that a rock‘n’roll ethic wasn’t the only lifestyle subscribed to on the streets of Sydney. We launched our website in 1994, the first commercial dance music website in Australia. The internet has come of age, and our website is back with a new look, new site design, new sections and stand-alone content.

The 3D World web page is very chunky if you are on a dial up which is a pity because this is an excellent dance music information source.
